Academia
An important part of HS2’s Learning Legacy is engaging with academia to support students starting in or developing within the profession.
The Learning Legacy provides a rich resource of case study material that can be used in course material by universities and in secondary research by students.
HS2 is keen to partner up with universities to provide more interactive engagement on MSc level construction-related university courses. This could be through invitations to the Learning Legacy Network to be guest lecturers or to engage with students on dissertations.
Due to the high number of requests received from students for engagement on dissertations, we can only support those that come via our academic partners. Learning Legacy academic partners will be listed on this page.
Academic engagement in relation to research and PHDs is not part of the Learning Legacy. This is provided under the UK Rail Research and Innovation Network (UKRRIN) and UK Collaboratorium for Research on Infrastructure and Cities (UKCRIC) frameworks.
