Monitoring completion health to drive performance and provide scheduling certainty

Published on Print this document

The EWC south programme of works was in a position where the majority of physical works were finished, but only a handful of projects were formally completed. In order to give certainty of compliant and timely completion for the remaining projects on the programme, a completion health tracker and monthly review panel was established. The right people in both delivery and assurance roles to expedite actions review the completion health of each project and and provide the right support to teams that need it.

This video highlights the positive outcomes of this initiative as well as the key learning points, which include the use of leading indicators to best suit the programme, establishing clear lines of communication and the morale implications of measuring poor completion health.
